CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

BUTI YOGA –

BUTI YOGA is a movement practice that fuses power yoga, tribal dance, and plyometrics into a high- intensity workout that transforms the body from the inside out. Clients train the core using the Spiral Structure technique created by founder Bizzie Gold that transforms the way the body looks and performs almost instantly. Buti combines various styles of Hatha yoga with tribal-influenced dance sequences to keep the heart rate up.

GROUP POWER –

GROUP POWER will blast all your muscles with a high-rep weight training workout. Using an adjustable barbell, weight plates, and body weight, Group Power combines squats, lunges, presses, and curls with functional integrated exercises. Dynamic music and a motivating group atmosphere will get your heart rate up; make you sweat, and push you to a personal best!

PiYo LIVE –

PiYo LIVE is a mind/body class for people who like to sweat! Using fusion style movements, it incorporates strength, balance and functional training, emphasizing the athleticism of Pilates and Yoga. PiYo blends the flow of yoga, the strength training of Pilates and cardio together for a quick total body workout. It isn’t purely a cardio or strength training program; it combines several areas of fitness into each class for a new workout experience.

STEP COMBO –

STEP COMBO is a high-energy class that incorporates stepping up and down off a bench in conjuction with choreography and upbeat music to challenge participants’ cardiovascularly. Class often includes some body weight and core strength training too.

CYCLE –

CYCLE classes simulate outdoor cycling on a stationary bike with a weighted flywheel and focus on endurance, strength, intervals, high intensity and recovery. Cycling is a great low impact cardiovascular training method.

BodyFIT –

BodyFIT is a low impact, high energy format geared towards strengthening your cardiorespiratory system as well as your core musculature utilizing body weight and functional movement training. Designed to be appropriate for all fitness levels.

SILVER SNEAKERS CLASSIC –

SILVER SNEAKERS CLASSIC is designed to increase muscle strength and range of movement, and improve activities for daily living. You’ll have a chair for seated exercises and standing support. Your instructor can modify the exercises for your fitness level.

YOGA –

YOGA is a great way to build strength, awareness and harmony in both the mind and body. Class includes breathing exercises, meditation, and assuming postures (sometimes called asana or poses) that stretch and flex various muscle groups.

DANCE FUSION –

DANCE FUSION is a dance fitness class where Hip Hop and Latin styles meet! This is an easy to follow, fun cardio class for all levels. Choreography includes hip hop, latin dance and functional athletic movements which are sure to get your heart beating!!

PILATES FUSION –

PILATES FUSION is a body conditioning system that improves muscle tone; balances musculature; builds flexibility and muscle strength, as well as increases endurance in the legs, abdominals, arms, hips, and back. It puts emphasis on spinal and pelvic alignment, breathing, and developing a strong core, and improving coordination and balance. It supports correct posture, and teaches us to move with ease and grace. This class is great for all fitness levels.

SILVER SNEAKERS YOGA –

SILVER SNEAKERS YOGA will move you through seated and standing yoga poses designed to increase flexibility, balance, and range of movement. Finish with restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation to promote reduced stress and mental clarity.

ZUMBA –

ZUMBA takes the “work” out of workout by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval- style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Spice up your workouts with this format that combines the hot moves of Latin dance with music.
